The concert is a celebration of Debra Huddleston’s 25th anniversary as Music Director and Organist at First Presbyterian Church in Woodburn.
Huddleston began her ministry at the church at Christmas in 1997, not long after she moved to Woodburn from Silverton. Besides her work at the church, she is the accompanist for the Willamette Master Chorale, director of the Silvertones, director of the Salem Madrigal Singers and a sought-after accompanist and vocal coach. She is a graduate of Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, Connecticut, Bachelor of Music in organ and liturgical music, Master of Music in piano accompanying and ensemble. She has been honored as a Bösendorfer Artist representing the famed Bösendorfer piano company.
The concert will feature music from Handel, Mendelssohn, Gigout, and contemporary composers.
A freewill offering will be received to support the music ministry at the church.
